Hello Families!
When do you start decorating for Halloween? We got our decorations out yesterday and I found all kinds of goodies I had forgotten about. I love to shop the after-holiday sales. Last year, I found Halloween-themed books for $0.60-$0.80 each, and I bought about 20 of them. I also found some great Halloween costumes on sale for just over $1 each. I bought the next size up, hoping my son could fit them this year, and they are just right! Now if I could just get this weather to cool down a little bit, it would really feel like fall is on the way. There are so many fun activities and events to do this time of year in West Wichita. I'd love to hear about some of your favorite things to do.

Hi, I'm Stephanie! Two years ago I gave birth to my miracle baby and made the choice to leave my 9-year teaching career with the Wichita Public Schools to stay home with him. Although I love being at home with him, I still have a desire to serve the kids and families of Wichita, and when I found out about Macaroni Kid, it seemed like the perfect way to stay connected to the community I love.
I grew up in Wichita, and I am thrilled to have this opportunity to highlight all the positive things Wichita has to offer families. We truly have so many wonderful things going on here.
I look forward to partnering with local families, businesses and organizations to build an inclusive, dynamic and diverse calendar of events that meets the needs and interests of ALL of our families.
